Jesus gave a parable like this. The seeds come down and some fall on the path, some in the rocks, some in the weeds, the birds pick up some and some find good soil and bear fruit.

He was asked to interpret the parable and He said this is Gods Word coming down. As you notice I have just put this in a short form.

This is the living Word coming down from heaven to you and me every day and did you notice most of the Words did not help us because it didn’t find good soil. Can you imagine how many blessing we have been robbed of because the Word did not find a fertile mind and heart when it fell on us.

I have come to the conclusion that God has a Word for us, a gift for us for every situation in our life. And most of these we have lost because we were not using the spiritual senses God gave us.

Recently I have been doing a simple little spiritual exercise at each meeting. I ask everyone to close there eyes and go inward and try to sense and be aware what they feel comings from God. I give them about two minutes and then ask what they felt. Almost every person felt the presence of God some way. Some felt love, joy, comfort , healing and other manifestations of Gods presence. I then pointed out that it did not take them long to get in touch with Christ in them, and whatever they received was for their benefit. I then had them do the same exercise again only this time I told them to listen to what God was saying to them in their heart and mind. We were silent for a couple of minutes and then I asked how many heard the Lord saying something to them. Almost every person heard something from the Lord. The point I want to bring out again is it didn’t take long for them to hear what the Lord had to say to them. He was saying something different to every one of them. Remember what Jesus said “I only do what my father shows me, I only say what he tells me to say”. This is the way that we need to learn to function. We can be in touch with the Spirit of God In us if we use our spiritual senses. We don’t have to be losing so many of those precious seeds that are coming down from the heavenly.

We not only have to hear or feel what is coming from the Spirit within, we must do something with it. If we are feeling Gods love, joy, peace, comfort, healing or whatever we are sensing in this manner we must realize it is a gift from God to us, it is for our benefit. We need to grab hold of this wonderful gift and let it minister to us.

If that seed comes as a word then we need to acknowledge it and do whatever the Lord is telling us to do. A few weeks ago a woman heard the Lord say to her “When the Naults come go to there meeting and ask for prayer and I will heal you”. She came asked for prayer and the Lord healed her. What a wonderful gift from God.

God has given us the ability to be in touch with Him all the time. It is up to you and me if we take advantage of this or not. The seeds keep coming down ever day are you receiving them or are they being lost because we don’t stay in touch with Christ in us the hope of glory.

We give gifts at Christmas and other special times. God gives gifts every day if we would only receive them. The New Covenant, what a wonderful gift from God. What is the New Covenant? It is God's Word in our hearts and mind. A living word to bless us for every situation in our lives.

My prayer is that you may gather up every seed and every one bear fruit for you and for your loved ones.
