This day, this moment that God has given me is very special because with it or how I use it can bring about positive or negative effects for me, my family, my friends and people I don't even know. I wonder what value we can place on this day, this moment. What dollar value is it worth? Is it so valuable that all the money in the world can not pay for it?

If you had all the money in the world could you by back one moment that has past you by? What a gift God has given us, this day, this moment to use, to do with, to create whatever you want.

I cannot change the things I did yesterday. I cannot use tomorrow. I can only take advantage of right now to change things for good or bad.

Who has God made responsible for this day He has given us?

Is God responsible for what you do with it or are you responsible for this day God has given you?

I am not responsible for your day and you are not responsible for my day. Who does this leave responsible for this day, this moment of your life?

You all know the answer. Each one of us is responsible for our own day.

There is also a choice each one of us must make each day, each moment.

(Joshua 24:15) Choose for yourselves today who you will serve.

We are always serving someone every day. Ourselves or someone else. Who are you serving today?

It seems the Lord has a given us a day for everything. King Solomon speaks of a time for everything.

In the book of Ecclesiastes 3 it goes on listing all the things that God has appointed a time for. May God give us the wisdom to see what God has appointed for this day of our lives.

This day can be the most wonderful day of my life. I read in a book some time ago that eternity is to be alive. To be alive has something to do with today and this moment and what I do with it.

This is the day that God has given you. What are you doing with it?
